Unit 2

Morning Session (10:00am-12:30pm)

Fear, Aggression and Fearful Behaviour – how fearful behaviour develops. Take steps to both prevent and deal with fear related problems in dogs. Build confidence in your dog. Create a resilience you might not realise you need until it’s too late!

Afternoon Session (1:15pm-4:00pm) 

Resource Guarding and Impulse Control – how to reduce guarding behaviour toward dogs and people. Teach your dog self control, patience and social manners.

 

Unit 3

Morning Session (10:00am-12:30pm)

Creating Connections – This session focuses on what dogs need from humans to build healthy and productive relationships. Learn how your own behaviour impacts your dog’s perception of you!

Developing Enriched Environments – This fun session includes practical, easy suggestions for great activities your dog can do both with and without you.

Afternoon Session (1:15pm-4:00pm) 

Developing Enjoyable Dog Training Sessions – Improving and understanding motivation and reinforcement and practical video based techniques to teach new exercises and improve behaviour in dogs.

 

Unit 4

Morning Session (10:00am-12:30pm)

Separation anxiety and separation related behaviour, incorporating dealing with barking and destructive behaviour.

Afternoon Session (1:15pm-4:00pm) 

Useful Dog Training Equipment – Learn what equipment is best suited to what dog, problem or activity.

Accessing and Assessing Dog Training Services – Learn how to find dog training services or structures that really suit you and have fun while you’re at it – it doesn’t have to be about heel and stay!!
