NB: We do not rehome interstate or to applicants under 25. It is our policy not to rehome dogs in the Sunraysia area. As rescue groups have transported thousands of homeless dogs from Mildura and Sunraysia pounds over the last decade, we do not intend to send any back there.

Hello, my name is Arlo and you will just fall in love with me when we meet. I’m a great listener and learner as I come with the cutest ears!
I am a friendly fellow but I’m cautious when meeting new dogs, probably as I am only on the small side but I will play with them if they are nice to me. Currently I’m living with another small dog and we get along just fine. I like cats too!

I am very active and love doing zoomies and having fun. Walks are great and I’m a very good boy on the lead. I will listen to your commands when off leash when I get to know you and gain your trust but I don’t have much road sense so unless in a secure area I would be best on lead.

I may need a bit of training but I’m willing to make my new people happy. I am getting used to travelling in the car, although I am a bit anxious still.

My most favourite place is to be inside with my humans as I get very cold outside. I’m house trained and can use a doggy door without any issues.

I bark when visitors come over or hear a noise outside but I’m only trying to protect my humans. I will make it up to you with lots of cuddles and a I do love to chat also. I love visiting other people’s homes and will even stay overnight if you have to go away.  I am such a good boy on sleep overs.

I would love a family that has a fur friend for me to play with and if my human could be around more often than not, that would be fantastic. I have so much love to give and can’t wait to share all of it with you!

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. All necessary vet work such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment is also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
